Looking for an evening activity before dinner? Visit the John Marshall House in Court End for a guided tour on the hour or half-hour between 4pm and 7pm every Thursday. Celebrating 40 years! The Ashland Strawberry Faire is a free, family-oriented event which promotes the community, celebrates the strawberry harvest and raises funds for Hanover County scholarships. Come visit 300 vendors, including arts & crafts, non-profit groups and Hanover County businesses in historic Ashland, Virginia. The Faire is held on the tree-lined streets of beautiful Randolph-Macon College. Since 1982, the Faire has relied on community volunteers to run every aspect of the one-day event, which includes a Strawberry Parade, BARKing Lot, Pet Pageant and Motor Mile. There is truly something for the thousands who attend each year. Proceeds from the non-profit Faire provides scholarships and grants to local non-profit groups.

The 37th annual Friday Cheers by Hardywood Park Craft Brewery is a weekly summer concert series on Brown's Island on Downtown's riverfront. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the entrance.
